Purpose and scope:
Archiva Zootechnica (AZ), is an international quarterly journal published entirely in English by INCDBNA Balotesti. The articles published in AZ cover a wide range of fundamental and applied research in zootechnics and related fields.:
- Nutrition and feeding of farm animals
- Animal physiology
- Management of animal genetic resources: genetics, breeding, reproduction
- Quality of animal products and their influence on processing traits and consumer health
- Animal health and welfare
- Sustainable livestock production and its environmental impact
- Other topics relevant to animal production
Articles typically present research on cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and poultry; however, studies on other farm animals and laboratory animal species that address fundamental issues related to farm animals will be considered for publication. In addition to original research articles, well-written reviews are also accepted.
AZ readers typically represent the research and academic community, industry (farm professionals, feed and food processors), and government organizations (extension services, policymakers).
